In The Moonwell

On the eve of war, Moon Priestess Nehalennia rests and purifies herself in the comforting waters of a moonwell. She keeps her focus on silent prayers for those about to leave and those who she will never see again. Her hand rests in the hand of her friend and one she is most concerned for.

Kanzara's thoughts, on the other hand, are on coming battle and the realization that she may not come home to her wife, family, or her dear priestess friend.

Both try to push their doubts from their minds and focus only on the moment at hand.
