Based on a roleplay in World of Warcraft.
Melusine's mother, Nehalennia, had been injured in a fight and taken a hit to the head. This caused her to lose her memories for a second time in her life (though this damage was not as permanent.) While her mother was still recovering, Melusine walked up to her step father and handed him a drawing.
"What is this?" her stepfather asked her.
"A crayon drawing of the family," she replied in a sad voice. "So mommy wont forget us again..."
Adorably, she spelled everything wrong.
